Physiotherapy Job Vacancy – Kendu Adventist Hospital

Position; Physiotherapist

Location; Karachuonyo, Homa Bay, Kenya

The physiotherapist will be expected to provide quality, efficient and friendly physiotherapy services to patients.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Conduct in-depth evaluations of patients in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.
  2. Initiate appropriate physiotherapy intervention and treatment plans for patients.
  3. Assess and evaluate physical disabilities caused by neurological disorders, de-conditioning, and any other disease states.
  4. Promote wellness through community health interventions and screening
  5. Collaborate and work alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care
  6. Maintain and update patient records.
  7. Educate patients and caregivers about fall prevention and home care.

Requirements

  1. A minimum Diploma in Physiotherapy or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
  2. At least two years’ work experience as a physiotherapist.
  3. Registration with the Kenya Society of Physiotherapists (KSP).
  4. Current Practicing License from the Physiotherapy Council of Kenya (PCK)
  5. Excellent interpersonal, communication & customer care
  6. Certificate in computer skills
  7. Leadership skills and effective problem-solving abilities.
  8. Commitment to Christian principles, professionalism, work integrity, and spiritual maturity as demonstrated by active church involvement.
