Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced lady physiotherapist to join our growing healthcare team in Nairobi.

• Minimum Qualification: Diploma
• Experience Level: Mid level
• Experience Length: 2 years

Job Description and Requirements

In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating the medical needs of our patients to develop adequate treatment plans.

You will work with our patients to assist in practicing exercises and physical therapy designed to ease pain and increase mobility and must be well versed in the study of physical therapy with a background in rehabilitating patients with illnesses or injuries.

Duties and responsibilities
a)    Meeting with patients to assess what their physical challenges are and deciding on suitable treatment programmes
b)    Monitoring the progress of patients and adjusting or changing treatments as needed
c)    Liaising with other healthcare professionals, such as Occupational Therapists and General Practitioners and referring patients as needed
d)    Involving the families and caregivers of patients in their treatment programmes and the delivery of care
e)    Updating and maintaining accurate patient case notes and reports
f)     Staying up to date regarding new physiotherapy technologies and techniques
g)    Supervising and guiding student and junior Physiotherapists
h)    Initiating and participating in evidence-based projects to improve the quality of patient care
i)     Complying with government physiotherapy regulations

Qualifications:
a)    Diploma in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution
b)    At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position
c)    Registration with Physiotherapy Council of Kenya
d)    Good communication and leadership skills
e)    Excellent clients relations skills
