Physiotherapist – Gym Recovery Lab
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Physiotherapist for a gym recovery lab. The Physiotherapist will play a crucial role in providing high-quality physiotherapy services to clients, focusing on enhancing their physical well-being and supporting their fitness goals. This role involves working closely with clients, trainers and other professionals, to ensure a seamless and effective service delivery.
Responsibilities
1. Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation:
- Develop personalized rehabilitation plans for individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, or strains.
- Utilize various techniques to help clients regain mobility, strength, and function.
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
2. Massage Therapy:
- Offer different types of massages, including deep tissue, sports, and Swedish massage.
- Help clients relax muscles, improve blood circulation, and reduce muscle soreness.
3. Stretching and Mobility Sessions:
- Conduct sessions focused on enhancing flexibility, mobility, and range of motion.
- Provide targeted stretches and exercises to prevent injuries and enhance overall performance.
4. Foam Rolling and Self-Myofascial Release:
- Instruct clients in using foam rollers and tools for self-myofascial release.
- Guide individuals in applying pressure to tight muscles for tension release and improved mobility.
5. Compression Therapy:
- Utilize compression garments or devices to apply pressure to muscles.
- Improve blood circulation, reduce swelling, and facilitate quicker recovery.
6. Electrotherapy:
- Administer electrical stimulation devices to relieve muscle pain and inflammation.
- Enhance circulation and support clients’ recovery journey.
7. Recovery Workshops and Seminars:
- Conduct educational sessions on recovery strategies, injury prevention, and overall wellness.
- Empower clients to make informed choices for their recovery and well-being.
Qualifications:
– Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
– Valid PCK license to practice as a Physiotherapist.
– Proven experience in providing physiotherapy services, preferably within a fitness or gym setting.
– Strong knowledge of human anatomy, musculoskeletal conditions, and rehabilitation techniques.
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
– Empathetic and patient-centered approach to client care.
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
– Strong organizational skills to manage client records, treatment plans, and scheduling.
– Dedication to continuous learning and professional development.
Working Hours:
The Physiotherapist is expected to work with flexible scheduling based on client demand and operational requirements which will include weekends. Total Hours Per Week (40hrs – 48hrs)
