Salary and Compensation

• Basic Salary : Kshs. 25,470 p.m (Min). – Kshs. 33,950 p.m. (Max)
• House Allowance : Kshs. 3,200 p.m
• Commuter Allowance : Kshs. 4,000 p.m
• Leave Allowance : Ksh. 4,000
• Health Workers Allowance: As per SRC guidelines
• Medical Benefits : Comprehensive Medical Cover

Roles and Responsibilities

i. Providing Physiotherapy services to inpatients and outpatients in health institutions; Assessing patient needs including rehabilitation;
ii. Verifying and maintaining information and records relating to patients;
iii. Screening, assessing and providing therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, electrotherapy and hydrotherapy as per the patients/clients formulated treatment plan;
iv. Collecting data for operational research;
v. Sensitizing the community on Physiotherapy issues; and
vi. Preparing periodic reports.

Requirements for Appointment

i. Diploma in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution;
ii. Certificate of Registration from the Physiotherapy Council of Kenya (PCK); and
iii. Current Certificate of practice from Physiotherapy Council of Kenya (PCK).
