Occupational Therapy Job Vacancy – Nakuru County Government

Position; OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST III (VACANCY NO. 01/2022/13)

No of positions; Two (2)

Salary; 50,000 KShs p.m.

Terms; Three (3) years renewable contract

Deadline; 7th February 2022

For appointment to this position a candidate must;

i. Be a Kenyan Citizen;
ii. Have a Diploma in Occupational Therapy from recognized institution;
iii. Have a Certificate of registration from Kenya Occupational Therapy Association (KOTA); and
iv. Be proficient in computer applications.

Duties and Responsibilities

An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a Senior Officer. Specific
duties and responsibilities will involve;

i. Assessing, formulating and implementing patients’ treatment plan;
ii. Maintaining records and data relating to patients.
iii. Collecting data for operational research;
iv. Sensitizing the community on occupational therapy issues; and
v. Preparing periodic reports.
